Stephen C. Ho, MD
Stephen Ho was raised in Altamonte Springs, Florida, just outside of Orlando. He completed his BS degree in biology at the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating summa cum laude, and earned his MD degree from the University of Chicago in 1996. While in medical school, he developed an interest in immunology through participation in research activities, which subsequently led to a desire to enter dermatology. Following graduation, Dr. Ho spent one year at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City where he completed his internship in internal medicine. During that year he developed a great passion for the lifestyle and beauty of the intermountain states and knew he would return to the region to practice medicine. He pursued his dermatology residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he served as Chief Resident from 1999–2000. He was board certified in dermatology in 2000.
Dr. Ho’s professional emphases are: general dermatology, skin cancers, photo aging, and sports dermatology.
Outside of work, he enjoys an active lifestyle, including snowboarding, running, hiking, camping, climbing, and cycling.
